Welcome to an extra special pottery class with Lilly Maetzig (also known as @mae.ceramics).
NOTE: The spinning course is in English.
The course is suitable for people who have previous experience in turning and want to develop and refine their skills. The course will mainly focus on repeating turning a so-called "Butter Clock" (but you are also free to focus on something else). You do not need to have a lot of previous experience but you do need to know the basics.
Depending on your current experience, the goal is either to learn to turn the shape itself or to practice your skills in producing similar shapes of higher quality.
The purpose of the course is to develop your techniques in pottery making, to practice and experiment. But it also includes saving one piece per person that we will prepare, fire and glaze. (Special rules for members/owners of your own workshop*)
About Lilly Maetzig
Lilly has over 10 years of experience in pottery and has been working as a ceramicist in London for several years, where she sells her own ceramics, holds courses, inspires and teaches via social media.
