Frequently asked questions about our courses and events

Can you wash your ceramics in the dishwasher?

Yes! All the things you create at our events and courses are dishwasher safe. If you have created with clay on site, the ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe.
When it comes to ceramics you have painted, we have stress-tested running them in the dishwasher several times without it affecting them. That said: Always be a little vigilant. We do not recommend putting painted items in the microwave, however.

How long before you can pick up your ceramics?

The handling time for Painted Ceramics is approximately 2-3 weeks, you will receive an email when it is time to pick up!

The processing time for handmade ceramics where you created with clay is approximately 4 weeks.

We keep the items for 3 months from the event date, so you have about 2 months to pick up your items before they are thrown away/donated. We prefer pickup as soon as possible after the pickup email has been sent out.

Can I bring my dog to an event/course?

No, unfortunately. We love dogs and animals, but it is not certain that other participants at the event do. So for everyone's comfort (and the opportunity to focus), dogs cannot come along.

Can I bring my child to an event/course?

Small children are fine, but we ask that you be considerate of other participants if your child becomes upset. Please note that the studio is not very large and there is not much space for a stroller.

Can my child participate in the event/course?

Yes! Children can attend all of our courses and events unless otherwise specifically stated. That said, it is very delicate in the studio and it requires the child to be able to sit quietly in their seat.

When it comes to the turning/hand building workshop, the instructions are adapted for adults, but we help participating children a little extra if time permits.

NOTE: For painting events, the accompanying adult must also pay for a seat as we have limited seating.
