Welcome to the open studio in our ceramics studio at Chapmans torg, Gothenburg.

What does "Open Studio" really mean? Think of it as being a studio member for a day! It's an opportunity for those who want to create independently in our studio for 3.5 hours.

This session takes place at the same time as another course in our large room and you as a participant are expected to be able to manage on your own after a short guide on where things are and how to clean up after yourself. You as a participant must have spun at least once before.

NOTE : This is not a course and there is no instructor . Tip is to buy our digital spinning course before the session if you need to refresh your memory on the different techniques.

The purpose of the session is more to work with the techniques than to save things, but it does include saving two things per person, turned, which we will prepare, fire and glaze. You can choose between a handful of different glazes on the things to be saved.

Number of items we burn: max 1/person

(extra items can be burned for 100 SEK/piece)

You get unlimited clay to create and work with. When the session is over, you choose 1 favorite that we then glaze in the desired color* and fire in our pottery kiln at a later time. Leftover clay is recycled in the workshop so nothing goes to waste.
